Selection Guide

Adding Clips

Clips are an excellent attachment option for clients who prefer not to shave their head for installation. They grip onto existing hair for a secure, comfortable hold.

Why Choose Clips?

No Shaving Required

Clips attach to existing hair, so there’s no need to shave the head. Ideal for clients who aren’t ready for a fully bonded system.

Easy On & Off

Clip-in systems can be removed and reattached at home without professional help. Great for clients who want flexibility.

Partial Hair Loss

Best suited for clients with partial hair loss who still have enough hair around the edges for clips to grip securely.

How Clips Work

1

Clips Are Sewn to the Base

Small snap clips are sewn directly onto the base of the hair system, positioned to align with areas of existing hair.

2

3–6 Clips Are Typical

Most systems use 3–6 clips for a secure hold. More clips can be added for extra security if needed.

3

Clips Grip Existing Hair

The clips open and snap closed around the client’s remaining natural hair, holding the system firmly in place.

4

Check Hair Coverage

Ensure the client has enough hair around the top of the head for the clips to grip securely. Clips need something to hold onto.

Combination Methods

Clips + Adhesive

For clients with a very receding hairline, adhesive can be used in combination with clips for the most secure hold:

  • Tape or glue at the front where hair is too thin for clips
  • Clips at the sides and back where remaining hair is thicker
  • This combination provides maximum security across all areas

Important Notes

  • We can sew up to 6 clips onto the hairpiece before shipping.
  • Specify number and placement preferences when placing your order.
  • Hair systems with add-on services are not eligible for return.
